2 Petrus 2:20

SV	Want indien zij, nadat zij, door de kennis van den Heere en Zaligmaker Jezus Christus, de besmettingen der wereld ontvloden zijn, en in dezelve wederom ingewikkeld zijnde, [van dezelve] overwonnen worden, zo is hun het laatste erger geworden dan het eerste.
Steph	ει γαρ αποφυγοντες τα μιασματα του κοσμου εν επιγνωσει του κυριου και σωτηρος ιησου χριστου τουτοις δε παλιν εμπλακεντες ηττωνται γεγονεν αυτοις τα εσχατα χειρονα των πρωτων
Trans.	ei gar apophygontes ta miasmata tou kosmou en epignōsei tou kyriou kai sōtēros iēsou christou toutois de palin emplakentes ēttōntai gegonen autois ta eschata cheirona tōn prōtōn

Alex	ει γαρ αποφυγοντες τα μιασματα του κοσμου εν επιγνωσει του κυριου [ημων] και σωτηρος ιησου χριστου τουτοις δε παλιν εμπλακεντες ηττωνται γεγονεν αυτοις τα εσχατα χειρονα των πρωτων
ASV	For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.
BE	For if, after they have got free from the unclean things of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again taken in the net and overcome, their last condition is worse than their first.
Byz	ει γαρ αποφυγοντες τα μιασματα του κοσμου εν επιγνωσει του κυριου και σωτηρος ιησου χριστου τουτοις δε παλιν εμπλακεντες ηττωνται γεγονεν αυτοις τα εσχατα χειρονα των πρωτων
Darby	For if after having escaped the pollutions of the world through [the] knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, again entangled, they are subdued by these, their last state is worse than the first.
ELB05	Denn wenn sie, entflohen den Befleckungen der Welt durch die Erkenntnis des Herrn und Heilandes Jesus Christus, aber wiederum in diese verwickelt, überwältigt werden, so ist ihr Letztes ärger geworden als das Erste.
LSG	En effet, si, après s'être retirés des souillures du monde, par la connaissance du Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ, ils s'y engagent de nouveau et sont vaincus, leur dernière condition est pire que la première.

Sch	Denn wenn sie durch die Erkenntnis des Herrn und Retters Jesus Christus den Befleckungen der Welt entflohen sind, aber wieder darin verstrickt werden und unterliegen, so wird es mit ihnen zuletzt ärger als zuerst.
Web	For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
Weym	For if, after escaping from the pollutions of the world through a full knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, people are once more entangled in these pollutions and are overcome, their last state has become worse than their first.
